ABOUT THE COMPANY

Fermeco Sp. z o. o. was founded in April 2016 by Krzysztof Gozdek and Bolesław Heichman. The establishment of the company was dictated by the needs of the domestic and foreign market in the field of environmental protection. The dynamic development of the agricultural and food industry generates the need to solve ecological problems related to wastewater treatment and waste disposal. Based on our many years of experience in the field of research and design as well as completed environmental protection facilities in industry, we are able to offer comprehensive services.

The subject of our activity are industrial wastewater treatment plants, mainly from the agricultural and food sector, as well as utilization and agricultural biogas plants. Our activity focuses on comprehensive technical and technological consulting, design, author’s supervision and commissioning of installations. We also provide services in the field of technical and technological assistance for existing facilities with operational problems. We cooperate with executive companies and research and scientific institutions. We can offer a turnkey service.

KRZYSZTOF GOZDEK – 57 years old, graduate of the Chemical Technical School in Piastów and the Warsaw University of Technology at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering.

The course of previous professional career:

1978-2008 – INSTITUTE OF THE SUGAR INDUSTRY, WATER MANAGEMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION LAB Błonie – research and scientific unit, work as a technologist technician, and then as a technologist engineer. He participated in research on methane fermentation of sugar wastewater, which resulted in the development of guidelines for the design of the first anaerobic reactor in Poland at Cukrownia Wrocław. He conducted research towards the optimization of the methane fermentation process. He participated in technological start-ups of newly built anaerobic reactors in sugar factories. He was the head of research work on, among others, the impact of hydrolysis on the effectiveness of methane fermentation, determination of the biological quality of anaerobic sludge and their impact on the biodegradation of pollutants. He also conducted research on methane fermentation of wastewater from various branches of the agricultural and food industry: from cheese production and milk processing, including whey, from starch factories, from fish processing, from pig and cattle slaughterhouses, and fruit juice production.

2009-2014 – CHEMADEX S.A. Warsaw – design and executive company, work as a designer. He was involved in the design of biological sewage treatment plants for the agricultural and food industry, he was the manager of technological start-ups of newly built sewage treatment plants.
2014-2015 – EKOKONSULTING Sp. z o. o. Warsaw – consulting company, working as a senior technologist, he dealt with technical and technological consulting in the field of biological industrial wastewater treatment plants and biogas plants.
